Did you know the Jayhawk Hub is a one stop location offering MCC students several support services? Hi, I'm Jayhawk Hub Coordinator, Emily. It's here in room 2046, on the second floor of the main campus, where you'll find the Jayhawk food pantry. The hub is also where students can meet with representatives from the Department of Health and Human Services, Every Woman's Place, the Al Anon group, and where Goodwill Industries offers free tax preparation service to qualified students. The Hub is also where you'll find the Disability Support Services Office which offers accommodations to students facing physical, psychological or educational barriers. The Jayhawk Hub is one of our most important facilities and endeavors we've been involved with in terms of what it offers our students. Hi Jayhawks, I'm MCC President John Selmon. The Hub is an example of the institution's commitment to supporting student success and completion initiatives. It's a centralized easy to access space, where students can connect with all the community resources available to them. We can help with bus passes, have a quiet place for you to study. There's coffee in the Hub and snacks too. So get connected to the Jayhawk Hub. Stop in if you're facing a challenge or to stop in and just relax. The Jayhawk Hub is free to all MCC students and is open from eight to six, Monday and Tuesday, and eight to five, Wednesday and Thursday.
